7 Fairytale Cottages you can stay in.

We've all grown with the same Disney fairytales, and we've all been disappointed at how sometimes the world just isn't as magnificent as they portray it to be and from time to time, it can lack the magic that we thought there would be.
Well what if I told you that there are Cabins you can stay in that promise everything you've seen in fairytales, and maybe a bit more.

1. Forest House - Netherlands

(Snow White)

So this is, in my opinion, the cottage that Snow White ran away to devoid of the little men and housework, thankfully. The Forest House in the Netherlands is everything a luxury cabin should be, secluded, cozy and of course, absolutely mind blowingly beautiful and scenic.

2. Hotel Schloss Waldeck - Germany

( Cinderella )

The moment I saw this castle all I could think of was Cinderella and I could imagine it being beautifully lit up for midnight balls and romantic affairs. Located in Germany, you can actually stay in this castle for a $150 a night and be treated like absolute royalty.

3. Teahouse Tetsu - Japan

( Mulan )

Okay, so this one isn't actually a cabin/cottage/ hotel but instead it's a teahouse. A treehouse that you go to, to have tea, just to have tea. When I came across this all I could think about was how this is where Mulan would have retired to, surrounded amongst cherry blossoms and her grandchilden.

4. Jukkasjärvi Ice Hotel - Sweden
(Frozen)

So I know Frozen doesn't actually have an ice castle but what if it did, and what if you could stay in an ice castle completed with a bar, jacuzzi, and private igloos. This Ice hotel in Sweden is rebuilt every single year in the village of Jukkasjärvi and is the worlds first Ice Hotel.

5. A Getaway Cottage - Maisie

(For your own fairytale)

I came across the website Getaway when I was researching for upcoming trips and I've been in love with the idea and execution of it ever since. They're basically tiny little minimalistic cabins in the rural outskirts of big cities, like Boston and New York. They're so exclusive and secluded that they only email you the directions until the last couple of days before you arrive and never stay in one particular spot for too long. These cabins are genuinely what my dreams are made of and whenever I'm in Boston or New York, you'll find me here. Or actually, you won't.
Book your own cabin now on Getaway.

I hope you liked this post, I was scrolling through some of Wanderlustric's older posts and I came across this one that I wrote a year ago - 12 Palaces That Belong In A Fairytale and that's what inspired this revamped version! Please do leave me a comment if you have any thought's or inquiries because comments make me so ridiculously happy and I just love hearing what you all have to say!

Have a magical day!
