5 Tips To Manage School & Blogging.

I don't think people really realise the amount of work that goes into handling a  blog until they actually start one. Now managing a blog is hard, but handling school and blogging is taking it to  a whole new level. As i'm heading into  exam season the pressure is really starting to  get to me, but luckily i've learnt some tips and tricks along  the way and I would  be more than happy to share them with you!

1. Schedule EVERYTHING.

There will always inevitably be busy days and very busy days. Schedule all of  your Facebook, instagram, twitter and blog posts days beforehand, it really helps. I like to keep mine 5 days in advance just so that it gives me a little leeway to change, update, shift or even just remove anything that I want and to also have 5 days worth of backups right at my finger tips. You'll be incredibly surprised to see that scheduling all of your social media posts is actually the easiest thing ever. Just be sure to take out an hour every 5 days to schedule it all.

2. Have A Motivation Board.

Okay so I know this sounds really stupid and mildly dorky but it really does help! Wether it's a pinterest board or an actual bulletin board it's just a constant motivation to succeed. I'm actually working on a real life Inspirational wall ( Pinterest doesn't suffice anymore! ) so if you want to know more about that let me know in the comments and I will definitely do blog post on it!

3. Use the crevices of time.

I never really realised how  much time I wasted until i started counting the amount of time  I wasn't studying, blogging, eating or with my family/friends. Instead of scrolling  through Instagram while your in  the loo you should be updating your Instagram! Not about what your doing though....that would be awkward. Little things like checking Whatsapp during study breaks, getting caught up in a  Youtube video, making your coffee, taking a shower ect. all takes up a lot of time. I'm not saying stop checking whatsapp and stop taking a shower but I'm saying  be productive  about it. For example post a picture on Instagram before you get in for a shower and respond to the comments once you're out. Do you get what I mean?

4.  It's your choice.

I find that when I start to get overly stressed out while juggling school and blogging I just have to calm down, drink some tea and remind myself that no one is forcing me to do this, it's my own choice. Somehow, at least for me, just saying that to myself helps me out and reminds me that I chose this and i still choose this!

5. After all, there are 24 hours in a day.

I think you sort of know where I'm heading with this one....yes, I am talking about staying up till 3 a.m. and waking up at 6 a.m. And although I do not recommend skipping sleep at all, sometimes there really is no other choice. What I've started to do more now that I've sort of entered exam season is to not sleep for like 6 hours constantly but just break up sleeping and staying up which is why you'll probably find me awake at 4 in the morning and asleep at noon. I just think that it's really important to understand how your body works and to just experiment with it! What I've mentioned above works for me specifically so go ahead and try it out but try and develop your own thing because everybody's body works differently.
